Another major milestone has been the installation of the roller shutter this week. The whole purpose of the suspended beam wall at the end of the pool was to hide the roller shutter away and make it much more aesthetic.
The installation was pretty straightforward, but hard work and lots of blisters, as you have to join each of the individual ‘blades’ together by pulling and pushing them against each other. I have not counted how many, but it probably took most of the day to install the whole thing.
At least it is now secure and we can leave it unattended in the knowledge that it is safe.
